MidSummer Night's Dream:
ReplyDeleteI'm little bit scared of Shakespeare. I only put 1 of his plays on spin # 8. His language is beautiful, mysterious…and far too big to handle for me without some preparation.
I like what Homer said: "Avoid it; for this is the hardest month, wintry, hard for sheep and hard for men."
Now you have one play under your belt and you are hooked!
DeleteSlowly reading Merchant of Venice ( while juggling other books....).
ReplyDeleteWant-wit's, portly sails, gudgeon....yes, I'm hooked!
Oh, yay! Another Shakespearian won over! I'm reading King Lear at the moment. It's still my favourite. Such anguish and malice and manipulation with so many common threads running through it. Fantastic!
DeleteArg!!! Why'd I click on that list! It makes me want to go out and get me some Shakespeare. I've been wanting to get to Othello for awhile now. ...
ReplyDeleteBy all means read Othello! It's one of my favourites ..... but so many favourites when it comes to Shakespeare!
